OnSchedule

The OnSchedule application was built for Weston Park Hospital's Oncology department, part of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS trust, to manage their busy schedule of clinics, ward rounds, on-call rotas and other medical events. The resulting app assists the day to day running of the department by ensuring that events have the relevant grades of staff present and that they have the right skills, whilst making sure that staff aren't being double booked. Event dates can be generated from patterns such as "every monday", "the first tuesday and second thursday of the month" or just a single date. Events can be set to require a certain number of staff and those staff can be required to have certain skill levels in various skill areas. Staff absences can be accounted for and administrators are notified when clashes occur between absences and events. The final schedule output is colour coded according to location and can be filtered down to an individuals view or used as an overview for the entire department.
